The Old School Greek
Picnic Reunion
Calling all Old School Greeks (people who pledged before
1990)!!!
On Saturday, July 12, 2003, Big Stan would like to invite
you to participate in “The 2nd Annual Old School Greek
Picnic Reunion” at Lake Welch Beach State Park in Bear
Mountain, New York 10911. (37 miles North of New York
City, Palisades Parkway, exit 16)
Lake Welch Beach State Park's man-made Lake Welch, with
its half-mile-long sandy beach in the wooded hills of
the Ramapo Mountains, is the largest beach in Harriman
State Park. The park offers cool breezes, swimming, fishing,
boating, picnicking, hiking and camping in adjacent Beaver
Pond Campground.
This event is geared toward Greeks who pledged before
1990 with the hope of creating an opportunity for you
to connect with those people and faces of your undergraduate
years that you haven’t seen since who-knows-when!
There is NO COST other than parking
to attend or participate in this event.
Lake Welch opens at 7:00am and we suggest you arrive early
to secure your ideal picnic location. Lake Welch provides
a beach, concession stand, basketball court and lots of
barbecue areas. We look forward to seeing you all there!
Important Note: Lake Welch Rules & Regulations prohibit
Alcoholic Beverages at the lake!
