The New York City Greekfest

The New York City Greekfest, New York’s premier African-American summer festival, often referred to as the Greekfest, is one of the largest celebrations in the nation, targeting members of Historically Black Greek Letter Organizations, and African-American college students and alumni from around the country.

This year will mark the true 25TH ANNIVERSARY of this great event, and we will be reaching out all over the community to have the best set up on Nassau Road, in Roosevelt, Long Island.

Greekfest has continued its annual growth attracting over 20,000 participants each year. This years three day festival filled with parties, step show competitions, a diversity career expo, concerts, sporting events, and additional activities promises to be bigger than ever .

The Greekfest is more than just a Saturday at the Beach. Hosted the last week of every June, it is dedicated to “Celebrate the academic and professional achievements and talents of members of Historically Black Greek Letter Organizations.” In an effort to fulfill this objective, National Greek Network, Inc., the producers of the Greekfest, provide a mature and safe environment where patrons may indulge in networking, while enjoying and taking advantage of a wide array of performances and value added opportunities.
